Brochettes de bacon au pleourotus eryngii

Are you looking for an easy recipe to make but very, very tasty? These skewers are the answer!! Composed of bacon and pleourotus eryngii, but also… you can incorporate more ingredients if you wish… They are ideal for appetizers, as a first course or for cooking on barbecues. If you are a fan of bacon, you can taste its unique flavor along with other ingredients such as pepper, which if you add it to a healthy food ingredient such as pleourotus eryngii, can become the perfect component to give it more flavor and joy. In addition, given its flexibility in raw, it is great for wrapping other ingredients, forming rolls… as we propose in our skewers. The bacon does very well in the oven, which leaves it very crispy and practically without fat… What better way to solve a quick dinner without giving up the taste? Attentive!!

Preparation time: 45 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 250 grams of pleourotus eryngii
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green Pepper
  • 25 grams of butter
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation mode:

1. Wash the pleourotus eryngii and cut it into quarters. Season it with salt and pepper and sprinkle it with a little thyme.

2. Prepare four skewers alternating the pieces of bacon with a thin slice of onion.

3. Roast the skewers on the barbecue, sprinkling them with the prepared oil.

4. To finish, with the oven preheated to 180 degrees with heat above and below, cook them until they brown a little above. Remove them from the oven and turn them to the other side so that they are made better. Reintroduce them and they will be ready when the bacon is to your liking.

5. Serve immediately and pour green pepper over.

Starting with this appetizer means succeeding, as the combination of pleourotus eryngii with bacon is delicious. It is ideal and very versatile, since it allows you to introduce countless ingredients: vegetables, meats, sauces…
